The adventure bug bites most of us. Tales of adventure that we see on TV and read in the newspapers inspires us. When the banality of life tires us, the call of the wild beckons us. To escape into the woods, to disappear into the forests, to travel among desolate landscapes of the deserts, and the arctic zones, is a longing desire and we often take remedy to it by packing our bags and going on that trek or hike.
Life has much more to offer than the cozy comforts of our homes. Living and traveling in pristine forests is a fantastic experience. The flora and fauna preserved from ages, the running brooks, untamed animals roaming the wild, all combine to give the adventure traveler a refreshing experience. Such sublime conditions can lead us to a voyage of self-discovery.
Human inventions and interventions have made things more exciting. Adventure activities such as bungee jumping, glider flight, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking and trekking, have drawn many of us towards them.
